台灣首顆自製氣象衛星「獵風者」今天完成最後一項測試「全功能測試」，若順利於明年1月初通過「運送前審查會議」，預定於明年3月運送至法屬圭亞那發射升空。國家實驗研究院國家太空中心今天透過新聞稿表示，由該中心自主研發的獵風者衛星，在25日完成「全功能測試」，代表衛星已通過所有模擬太空環境的考驗，依然能維持最初設計的性能。

太空中心表示，獵風者衛星預計於明年1月初召開「運送前審查會議」，檢視所有測試結果，若通過審查，獵風者即進入備便狀態，將配合火箭發射時程，起運至在南美洲的法屬圭亞那，預計於明年3月，搭乘法國亞利安太空公司的織女星C型火箭發射升空。

國科會主委吳政忠表示，衛星產業鏈包含衛星製造、發射服務、地面設備、後端應用4大領域，太空中心在2023年行政法人化後，將全方位發展太空技術，以串接完整的產業鏈，有助台灣的太空產業進步更快速，在國際太空產業中占據一席之地。
