氣象專家吳德榮在「三立準氣象．老大洩天機」表示，今(5日)上午東北季風抵達，北台雲量增，轉有局部雨，花、東亦轉有局部雨，新竹以南多雲時晴，中南部山區午後有短暫降雨的機率。冷空氣不強，不過北台因雲多降雨而轉濕涼，高溫下降幅度大，低溫下降幅度小；其他地區氣溫略降。今日北部21至28度，中部23至33度，南部23至34度，東部20至33度。

吳德榮指出，明日至週日(6至9日)東北季風影響，北台稍涼，其他地區氣溫略降，東半部有局部雨、大台北東側有局部短暫雨，當水氣增多時，大台北西側亦有短暫降雨的機率；新竹以南晴時多雲，中南部山區午後有短暫降雨的機率。東半部水氣逐漸堆積，北部山區、東北部及東部有較大雨勢發生的機率，尤其東北部山區；應隨時注意氣象局的「特報」及「即時訊息」。

吳德榮說，週日晚另一股東北季風挾冷空氣南下，桃園以北及東半部有局部短暫雨；國慶日〔下週一(10日)〕白天起天氣轉乾；大台北轉多雲，西半部晴時多雲，東半部偶有局部短暫雨。氣溫漸降、北台愈晚愈涼。下週二(11日)乾空氣影響，各地晴時多雲，白天舒適、早晚偏涼微冷；平地最低溫約降至16度左右。
